Jing Jia
I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Rutgers University, where I am fortunate to be advised by Professor Peng Zhang and Professor Guanyang Wang.
My current research focuses on generative models, with a growing interest in posterior sampling methods. Broadly, I am fascinated by machine learning theory and its applications in intelligent systems.
I am also passionate about robotics and education. I am the co-founder of WLKATA Robotics, where we develop embodied AI robotics solutions for educational environments.
Research Interests: Diffusion models and generative AI; tabular foundation models; causal inference.

Summer 2026 · San Jose, CADeveloped an automated feature engineering and aggregation pipeline that transforms relational tables for single-table foundation models, including TabPFN and TabICL, for Adobe Experience Platform and Customer AI.
Co-Founder & CTO · WLKATA Robotics
July 2021 – Present · Hackensack, NJLed technology and product strategy, designed robotics and AI curricula, and wrote scripts, filmed, and produced product videos for the WLKATA YouTube channel. A WLKATA product video has received more than 116,000 views.
